Yunnan Has Southwest China's Biggest E-sports Center
The center, named Jingzhu Dream, occupies a ground space of 1,500 square meters and is equipped with 255 high-performance computers. Comprising of different gaming regions, the center meets the requirements of varying levels of e-sports enthusiasts. The center's general manager, Zhang Zhigang, said that since e-sports had been listed as a professional sport item by the General Administration of Sport of China it would have a promising future.
The concept of e-sports has evolved to encompass industry sectors such as construction, entertainment, marketing, and human resources. "Talent from different walks of life can compete with each other in the world of e-sports", said Zhang.
