Appreciate Wenshan Beryl Carvings in Kunming

Beryl carvings produced in Wenshan Zhuang and Miao autonomous prefecture will be available for visitors to purchase at Yunnan Cultural Industry Expo.

The expo is due to be held from Aug 7 to 11 at the International Conference and Exhibition Center in Kunming city, Yunnan province.

The delegation from Wenshan prefecture will also present unique agate, earthenware and embroidery works, along with carvings, ornaments and accessories made from beryl.

The prefecture is home of the largest beryl mineral deposit to have been discovered in China. It produces high-quality beryl which has gained a good reputation around the world.
