Kunming Becomes China's Famous Exhibition City

The city of Kunming in Southwest China, received the Golden Dolphin award on August 16, as it was honored as China's Famous Conference and Expo City.

The award was announced at the 11th China International Conference and Expo Festival in Haikou, Hainan province. Also receiving awards were another 12 cities, including Beijing, Shanghai, Xiamen and Chengdu.

Golden Dolphin is one of China's most authentic and populous awards in the exhibition industry.

Official statistics show that Kunming held over 400 exhibitions in 2014, earning it the title Expo City.
