Jiangsu Kunshan Promotes Tourism at CITM 2015
Kunshan, Jiangsu province is attending the China International Travel Mart 2015 (CITM 2015) in Yunnan province from Friday to Sunday.
Kunshan hopes to popularize its various tourism products and routes in an all-round manner and unfold its unique glamour – water towns combining tradition and up-to-date fashion, attractions in both classical and modern styles.
CITM 2015 is jointly organized by the China National Tourism Administration, the Civil Aviation Administration of China and the Yunnan Provincial People's Government.
More than 1,000 businesspeople from 105 countries and regions, including South Korea, Japan, Russia and the US, are taking part in the gathering, which occupies an area of 70,000 square meters with 3,087 booths.
This year's guest of honor country is India.
On Nov 14 and 15, the mart will open to the public with an admission fee of 10 yuan ($1.57) per person.
CITM, established in 1998, is the largest professional travel mart in Asia. It has for years drawn people in the tourism industry worldwide. As an annual event, it is held in Shanghai and Kunming alternately.
Participants in CITM come from all sectors of the travel industry including international and domestic tourist organizations, travel agencies, hotels, airlines and related travel companies.
