No Tourist Toll Reported in Yunnan Ludian Earthquake So Far

Magnitude-6.1 earthquake hits Ludian County of Zhaotong City in the northeast of China's Yunnan Province, Sunday afternoon (3 August). At present, the dead toll has climbed to 589, and there has been no tourist toll, injury or stranding reported.

The epicentre of the quake is Longtoushan Town of Ludian County, which is relatively afar from main tourist draws of Zhaotong City.
